An Extremely Rare 18th Century Miniature Dutch Silver Bucket

An extremely rare silver miniature from the mid 18th Century. This lovely piece is a Rococo silver bucket with a swing handle. In 18th Century Holland the grand homes often had elaborate dolls houses and the lady of the house would occupy herself acquiring charming miniature items, with which to furnish them. A delightful example from an early date is a wonderful find for the collector. Dimensions below.

Hallmarks :- 18th Century Dutch hallmarks and import marks. Part mark to the handle.

Date :- c1750.

Height :- 5 cms. (handle up).

Rim diameter :- 3.25 cms.

Base diameter :- 2.25 cms.
