This late Victorian locket is so pretty.
It is set with mystical rose cut diamonds in a fabulous star setting
The centre 4.5mm rose cut diamond is surrounded by nine pretty little accent diamonds
The centre diamond is about 4.5mm and the others are around 1.5mm giving a total weight circa 0.5 carat
The locket opens with a concealed clip.It is suspended from a bale with rather indistinct markings ( tests 15ct gold )
It heart is 1" ( 25 mm ) across and the length including bale is 1 1/2" ( 4 cm ).
This antique pendant dates to around 1890.
This fine quality locket is in excellent condition. It weighs an impressive 8.5 grams.
It comes in the presentation box illustrated.
This fabulous pendant looks so lovely when worn.
