Rare Edwardian Fitted Silver Wallet, 1908

1900 - 1920
Description

A rare and high quality Edwardian solid silver fitted wallet, hallmarked Birmingham 1908, with makers mark for GH, likely to be George Houston. The case is beautifully initialled CF or FC.

The curved and cushion shaped case is spring loaded to open a fitted gilt and engine turned interior with compartment for coins and sprung clip for notes.

A fine quality piece and very practical today.
