Antique George II Solid Silver Brandy Warmer

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

A lovely example of a solid sterling silver brandy warmer, dating from the reign of George II.

The hallmarks on the base are quite worn but the date letter is decipherable and it dates the brandy warmer to London 1732. The maker is possibly Thomas Mason.

The silver is in remarkable condition given its age. The ivory handle is a little loose but is still firmly attached.
