A Silver Plated Centre Piece by Ellington &Co.

Description

A magnificent Victorian silver plated centre piece by Elkngton & Co. The column has interwoven fruiting vine branches culminating with with tendrils and grapes among the leaves.

The tripod base has a central column and extends into three acanthus stylized feet. It is crowned by a superb cut glass bowl , with a petal rim.

Height = 53 cm (21")

Width = 30 cm (12")

Depth = 30 cm (12")

Condition

Excellent, with no plate loss, cracks or splits to the mount and no chips or cracks to the glass.

The base fully marked with the E & Co. Marks
