Art Deco 1.44 Carat Old Mine Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1915

Description

A truly exquisite antique diamond engagement ring. The cushion shaped old mine cut diamond in the centre is bright, internally clean and full of fire. The stone is rubover set in platinum, and crowns the most impressively detailed gallery; finely pierced and milgrained, and set with six small rose cut diamonds to a slim platinum shank. Gloriously crafted.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30307484).

Cut – Cushion shaped old mine cut (with rose cuts in the gallery).

Colour – J (H to I in the gallery).

Clarity – VS2 (VS2 to SI2 in the gallery).

Carat – The centre is approximately 1.44 carat (with a further approximate 0.03 carat in the gallery).

Circa – 1915.

Measurements – The diamond is approximately 6.35 x 7mm. Sits 5.8mm from the finger.

Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
