Pair of Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Entree Dishes with Crests 1905

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a super pair of antique Edwardian sterling silver entree dishes each measuring 10 1/2" (27 cms) x 9" (23 cms) deep x 5" (12.5 cms) to the top of the handles.

The lids and dishes are all hallmarked for London 1905 with the silversmiths mark for Thomas Bradbury & Sons and they have the retailers mark underneath of 'Edward & Sons, Glasgow'.

They have matching crests on one side of a bird under the word 'Avance' which is French for Advance.

They have beautiful handles, shaped edges and gadroon borders and are very heavy at 3380 grams.

The handles are easily removed for storage if necessary and they are in super condition and ready for use.
