A pair of French gilt bronze candlestick, in the Louis XVI style. Each cast as three putti standing back to back, holding bunches of grapes, supporting a single cast candle sconce with drip pan, and supported by a well cast and chased stepped circular base . Retaining the original gilding. Stamped ‘H’ to underside. Possibly by Henri Picard.
