Description

A rectangular silver photo frame from the First World War era. This useful example is of easel form with an attractive wide silver front. The back is of easel form and the landscape format makes this a practical and useful example. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good with no splits or holes. There are a couple of very minor blemishes to the silver, commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.

Date :- Sheffield 1915.

Maker :- James & William Dixon.

Height :- 11.5cms.

Width :- 16 cms.

Photo area :- 8 cms x 13 cms.
