The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The chain measures 34cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Each of the links has the lion passant silver mark. The largest link measures 12.5mm wide.

There is also a shorter chain upon which is a later silver fob with a rose gold wash to the central shield. The fob is hallmarked on the reverse for Birmingham 1929, and is stamped with the maker's name Thomas Fattorini.
Total weight of the chain and the fob is 101g.
