Pair of Antique Solid Silver Open Salts

1900 - 1920
Description

An excellent pair of antique, solid sterling silver salts.

They are hallmarked for Birmingham 1917, with the maker's mark of Mappin & Webb.

The salts feature simple reeded borders around slightly bulbous bodies standing on a central, circular foot. The blue glass liners are in excellent condition.

Dimensions:

Diameter:5cm

Height: 3cm.

Silver weight: 76g

There are two accompanying spoons - one is silver (Birmingham 1937, Deakin & Francis) and the other plated.
