Antique Edwardian Solid Silver Photo Frame

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely, unusual solid sterling silver photo frame.

It is hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1908, with the maker's mark of Synyer & Beddoes (Harry Synyer & Charles Joseph Beddoes). There is a plain, deep border with inset ribbon tied fret work.

The silver is in excellent condition. However, there is a small amount of damage to the top right hand corner of the wood, possibly the result of the frame being dropped. The second picture shows the comparison in size with a can if cider, which, unfortunately, is not included in the sale!
