Large Solid Silver Oval Photo Frame

1900 - 1920
Description

A classic solid sterling silver oval photo frame.

Hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1918, with the maker's mark of E Mander & Son, the frame is a simple plain mount on a wooden easel back. The silver is in excellent condition. There are a few scratches on the wood, but it is original and the watermarked silk strut is still in place to support the easel.

The last photograph with the can of cider is to give an idea of the size - sorry, the cider is not included!
