A Superb Cast Silver 'Salters' Commemoration Spoon

A superb fully cast silver gilt spoon for the Worshipful Company of Salters. The Worshipful Company of Salters is one of the Livery Companies of the City of London, 9th in order of precedence. The Company originated as the Guild of Corpus Christi, which was granted a Royal Charter of incorporation in 1394. The spoon bears the motto 'Sal Sapit Omnia', meaning Salt savours all and is of fabulous gauge silver. A wonderful, quality collector's item. Dimensions below.
