Description

A magnificent silver hash spoon from the early part of the 18th Century. This wonderful and large example is of excellent gauge silver and is in Hanoverian pattern. It has a handsome armorial of a rearing swan and is bottom marked (hallmarks at bottom of shank near to bowl). Spoons for this era are always in great demand due to their scarcity and a very large hash spoon is rarer still. The spoon has many modern day uses for serving food. Dimensions below.
