Cased Spoon & Fork Silver Christening Set Birmingham 1941

A very fine, solid silver Child's Spoon & Fork Christening set, all in the original case. Beautifully designed in a lovely 40's style. Both items are a good heavy gauge silver and feel nice and sturdy to hold. Hallmarks are very clearly visible on the back of both pieces for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1941 and maker's marks for the silversmith Barker Brothers.

Wonderful size for a child to hold. Would make a lovely Christening /New Baby gift!

 

The original deep brown leatherette presentation case is in lovely condition on both the outside and the inside.
