) The back-stand is made from a nicely grained wood. Clear hallmarks are visible on the lower part of the frame for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1899 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The maker's mark is also clear for the silversmiths: W.J. Myatt & Co.
