Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The silver rim on the top is hallmarked for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1901 and maker's mark for the Silversmith Sanders & Aquilar. It stands nice and solid and is a good weight when picked up.

A very sought-after and collectable antique.
Condition: This match striker is in great antique condition. There are some very tiny nibbles to the surface of the green glass that are hardly noticeable to the naked eye but are visible in a close up camera shot (please see images for verification).
