This is a super antique Victorian sterling silver trinket box measuring 5" (13 cms) x 2 1/4" (6 cms) x 1 1/2" (4 cms) high.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1896 with the silversmiths mark for Arthur & John Zimmerman.

It weighs 172 grams and is gilded inside.

It has lovely decoration, there are no inscriptions or monograms and it's in excellent condition.
