For sale this fine Japanese Silver organic Iris spill vase dating to the Meiji period. Very well modelled in bold relief with an open Iris around the stem of the vase. The rim, multi petal in shape. Signed to the base. It is this type of Japanese organic design that inspired European Art Nouveau. Size 10.3cm tall and the rim with a diameter of 7cm. Condition is very good with just the odd very slight shallow crease mostly to the base.
