Victorian Silver Plated Claret Jug

Description

A good clean Victorian decanter made around 1890.

For some reason I have an inclination that this may be French but I am unsure.

The quality of the handle etc only has one mark which is the number 5 and some other very small indistinct markings . It certainly has the feel and quality of silver .

The condition is very good with no chips or cracks to the base .
