Georgian Style Silver Coffee Pot

This elegant silver coffee pot was made in London in 1930 by Tessiers who occupied premises in New Bond Street (next to Sotheby’s) and is a direct copy of a George II example. It has a tapering hand-raised body with a cast spout, a fruitwood handle abs a hinged lid. The hallmarks are on the side near the top and there is a part mark on the rim of the lid. Gross weight 870 grammes (28 ozt).
