A Late 18th Century Silver Mounted Bodkin Case

A gorgeous example of late 18th Century silver sewing ware. This is a stunning silver mounted bodkin case with bright cut engraving to the mounts and a pull off lid. The body is covered in ox blood leather and opens to reveal a steel bodkin. A delightful, rare and practical piece for the collector. Dimensions below.

Hallmarks :- Unmarked, tests as silver. Small items of Georgian silver often carry no hallmarks.
