A beautiful quality George III silver Nutmeg Grater of large proportions by Thomas Phipps and Edward Robinson, London, 1806.

The rectangular form box with canted corners, the plain body decorated with initials and date of 1816 to the lid. Hinged cover and base, original steel grater.

Inside is a little hand written note, ‘Bought at the top shop, Broadway, Worcs on May 25th 1965 for £22-10 London 1806’

A fabulous quality box, in excellent condition throughout with no damage or repair. Hinges and lid close perfectly.
