Description

Birmingham 1919 English hallmarked solid silver stylish small candlestick with reeded decoration to top and base. Inscribed 1911-1936, this was apparently a memento for an important 25th year event.

This was made by Joseph Gloster Ltd., silversmiths of Lion Silver Works, Hockley Hill, Birmingham.

This is a classic piece and looks lovely alone, or in combination with other candlesticks, on desk, mantel or table.

Size-3 1/8 inches diameter by 3.25 inches high.

A great entry piece for a solid silver collection.

With the odd bump to bottom edge, a wonderful value in very good condition overall.

Serpentine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
