English Sterling Silver Double Inkwell / Inkstand with Pen - 1927

Description

A wonderful Art Deco sterling silver desk set, most unusual and a stylish piece which will blend in with almost any style of decor.

Each of the inkwells retains their removable glass liners for easy cleaning. The dip pen is included in the sale and is from the same period and is made from a Porcupine quill.

The English sterling hallmark can be found at the base of the silver, struck in the London assay office in the year 1927 together with the makers mark RP for Robert Pringle & Sons.

Excellent condition and measuring 8 1/4" x 4 1/8".
