9ct Gold Amethyst & Seed Pearl Ring Birmingham 1917

A very beautiful, antique, 9ct gold ring. The ring is set with the most stunning amethyst gem, wonderfully coloured and shaped. On each shoulder are 3 neat seed pearls set into a leaf design. The gold can only be described as a lovely rosy yellow. The inside of the band is clearly fully hallmarked for .375 (9ct gold) Birmingham Assay Office, with a date mark for 1917.
