Victorian Silver Miniature Pill Box Birmingham 1899

19th century
Description

A very neat, Victorian, small, circular solid silver Pill Box. No engraving or embossing to the silver. The lid pulls off nicely, to reveal a lovely gilded interior. Clear hallmarks are clearly visible on the base of the Pot for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1899 and maker's marks for the silversmith John E Wilmot.

 

Condition: In great antique condition.

 

Hallmarks and maker's marks: Birmingham 1899 by John E Wilmot.

 

Measurements:

Height 2 cm approx.

Diameter width at widest part: 2.8 cm approx.

Weight: 7.6 grams approx.
