Antique Giltwood Beaded Stool 19th Century

Description

This early Victorian footstool is a little beauty, just oozing charm and character. The stool has wonderful carved detail with a superb rich gilding to the gessoed detail. The top is upholstered in its original beadwork cloth which has a lovely worn country house look and delightful colours. The stool has really neat proportions measuring 32 cms by 22 cms by 16 cms high.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
