Distinctly Pretty Silver Toast Rack Sheffield 1915

A distinctly pretty design, this solid silver toast rack comprises four compartments in a lovely circular art nouveau style. The toast rack is supported on four ball feet and sits nicely level. It has a lovely styled handle on the top, matching the design. Clear and crisp hallmarks are visible on one side of the base frame, for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1915 and Lion Passant for sterling silver, along with the maker's marks for James Dixon & Sons. Superior craftmanship associated with a fine maker.
