A Rare Silver and Enamel Whistle

A rare and collectable silver whistle from early in the reign of George V. This handsome and unusual piece is of good size, works perfectly and has a large attaching ring for a fob chain or chatelaine. The rectangular body has alternate stripes of enamel on both front and back. and is hallmarked to both body and attaching ring. A good collector's item, still usable today. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Good, with no splits or holes. There is one dig to the front on the silver, commensurate with age and use. -The enamel is in perfect and undamaged condition. The whistle works well.

Hallmarks :- Full set to body and sterling lion to ring.
