A cased set of six Edwardian and George V hallmarked sterling silver and enamelled souvenir spoons. They were made by Levi & Salaman and assayed in Birmingham 1907 to 1912.
The places celebrated with the spoons are Holyrood Palace, Aberdeen University Marischal College, Gloucester, Carlisle Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, the Queen Victoria Memorial London, and Glasgow.
The case is marked ''By Appointment Goldsmiths To His Majesty The King, Thomas Smith & Sons, 47 George St, Edinburgh''.
Unfortunately the enamel on most of the spoons is damaged.
The spoons weigh 91g (2.92 t oz) gross.
