Sterling Silver Bowl with Blue Glass Liner

1900 - 1920
Description

A George V hallmarked sterling silver bowl. It was made by Gorham Manufacturing Co, and was assayed in Birmingham in 1916.

It has its original hand blown blue glass liner, a pierced border, and is raised on a footed base.

The glass is in good condition. There is an area of corrosion to the side of the silver bowl, a few small dents and other surface marks.

The silver weighs 117g (3.76 t oz), and with the liner weighs 326g.
