A Set Of Victorian Silver Soldier Teaspoons

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: TJR Trading

A set of eleven Victorian hallmarked sterling silver teaspoons. They were made by Harrison Brothers & Howson (George Howson) and assayed in London in 1890.

Each spoon has a different figure of a Victorian British soldier. The stems are in a variety of different styles and some have rat tails to the back of the bowls.

It should be noted that a number of the spoons have damage to them. Two have snapped into two parts and on a number of others the bowl of the spoon has buckled.

The set weighs 202g.
