A Superb Pair of 18th Century Silver Tongs

A gorgeous pair of 18th Century, shaped silver tongs. These beautiful tongs have stylish feather edge engraving and acorn finials. There is a cartouche on the bow, surrounded with engraved flowers and with the original 'pricked' initials E P. A charming and collectable pair of early tongs, with many uses. Dimensions below.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Only maker's mark and sterling lion present (usual with early tongs).
