Description

A stunning Edwardian solid silver card case or aide memoire, wiry wonderful tactile engraved design, with central vacant cartouche, opening to reveal a wonderful lined interior in leather, with writing wafer and original hallmarked silver pencil. Hallmarked Birmingham 1902 by Joseph Gloster.

Hallmarked to both sides and in absolutely stunning condition, outside and inside. It is even complete with his and hers original calling cards, for a Mr and Mrs John Orr from an address in Eccles: Heatherlea, Clarendon Road, Eccles.

In excellent condition throughout, a superb piece.
