Description

A wonderful Victorian solid silver swing handle sugar basket with original blue glass liner. This impressive basket has engraved and swag decoration to the upper body and fluted to the lower quarter and base, fully hallmarked for London 1876 by Robert Harper.

In excellent condition throughout, hallmarks sharp and clear.

Height excluding handle : 13.75cm high and 10cm in diameter. The silver weight is 235 grams, with the glass liner; the weight is 470 grams.
