Description

An absolutely superb meat or food dome dating to around 1880, Victorian in period.

There is a removable highly decorative cast handle, which incorporates vine leaves and grapes. There is a "skirt" about two inches from the bottom which is decorated with cast scroll mounts. All four sides has a riot of repousse decoration, the front and back also have a vacant cartouche which could be engraved if desired.

This piece is in superb undamaged condition and immaculately clean having been professionally re-plated. Measures 14" x 10" x 9" tall to top of handle. When not in use these make stunning decorations in the kitchen or dinging room; a gem!
