This is a lovely piece - a solid sterling silver wheelbarrow.
It could be used for a variety of purposes, and is large enough for a bon bon dish, a dressing table tray or a trophy.
It is clearly hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1908 with the maker''s mark of Charles Boyton & Son Ltd. The silver is in excellent condition. The intricately-decorated wheel moves freely and all parts are firmly attached. There is an inscription inside which reads: ''West Somerset Polo Club Pony Show. 1912. Ladys Hack Class''.
A gorgeous piece!
