Heavy Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Basket 1905 - 1145g

Description

This is a top quality antique Edwardian sterling silver basket measuring 12 1/2" (32 cms) x 10" (26 cms) x 3 1/4" (8 cms) high to the rim and 9" (23 cms) to the top of the handle.

It's hallmarked for Sheffield 1905 with the silversmiths mark for the Atkin Brothers and underneath shows the retailers mark for 'Batty & Sons, Manchester'.

It's in super condition with no damage at all and the handle swings perfectly.

It has a beautiful piercfed decoration, there are no inscriptions or monograms and it weighs 1145 grams which gives you some idea of the quality .
