Antique Solid Silver Quaiche

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality, heavy, solid sterling silver quaiche, or whisky taster.

Clearly hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1923 with the maker's mark of S Blanckensee & Son Ltd. The quaiche is not engraved and is completely plain in design. It stands evenly on a central pedestal base. There is one small ding on the side, shown in the last photograph, and other than that the silver is in excellent condition.

Diameter of bowl: 10.5cm

Height: 4cm.
