Impressive Victorian Silver Plate Liqueur Stand with a Standing Lion

Description

A very impressive Victorian silver plate liqueur stand with a beautiful standing lion. Secured to the back of the lion is a parcel gilt bamboo style frame with ten hooks to hold glasses and a double looped frame to hold two bottles. The base is silver plated with a cast gilt rustic scroll decoration finished with a pair of bamboo and bar handles and four elephant trunk feet. A very unusual and decorative item in very good condition.

Date: Circa 1890.
