Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 8" Cherub Photo Frame 1898

Description

This is a beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver photo frame measuring 8" (20 cms) tall x 6 1/2" (17 cms) across with the opening measuring 4 3/4" (12 cms) x 3 1/4" (8 cms) across.

All the silver is in excellent condition with super decoration all round of cherubs, birds, flowers and grapes .

It's hallmarked for London 1898 with the silversmiths mark for William Comyns and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

It has a blue velvet backstand which has some age/use marks but works perfectly well.
