Set Four Antique Solid / Sterling Silver Salts and Spoons - 1908

Description

A handsome set of four English solid or sterling silver salts, Edwardian in period, each hallmarked for London 1908 together with the makers mark G J / DF for George Jackson and David Fullerton.

The four original spoons are unusual having picks at the end to loosen any solidified salt before serving.

This handsome set sits in it's original silk and velvet box. The silk on the inside of the lid is gold printed with the retailer's mark " Botly and Lewis - Jewellers and Watchmakers - Reading".

Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age, a couple of small dints - each salt standing 1 3/4" high with a top diameter of 2 1/4"; the box itself measures 10 1/2" x 7".
