Good Silver-mounted Claret Jug

Description

A good quality early Victorian silver mounted CLARET JUG (or wine jug) in perfect condition by George Angell & Co of London. The silver collar and spout, with the integral handle, is cast with oval "cameos" to either side, with engraved decoration, whilst the spout features a character mask to its lower edge. Fully hallmarked to collar and to the hinged lid for London 1845. 10ins high.
