An Arts & Crafts Novelty Silver Card 'Envelope'

An Edwardian novelty silver card case in the Arts & Crafts style. This attractive example is rectangular in shape with a hinged lid and is formed to look like an envelope. To the reverse is a cartouche, with the original engraved monogram. The body is spot hammered and the interior is fully gilded. A handsome and collectable example. Dimensions below.
