An Antique Silver Pocket Watch, 1919.

Description

An antique silver pocket watch, 1919.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The high grade jewelled movement is stamped Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are silver hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1919 with the case nakers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Companyl. The case has some bruising to the back and inner case back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1919 piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition with only light surface marking from use.

The dial has a faint hairline crack between 11 & 12 o'clock although only noticeable through a jewellers loupe.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
