Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
A nice circular lid pulls of for filling the Caddy. Very clear hallmarks are visible for London 1901 and the letter 'F' indicating import ('F' indicates the item was made between 1867 and 1904, therefore the Caddy could be older than the mark). These can be clearly seen on the side of the Caddy and on the lid and also on the base underneath.

The silver importers marks are also very clear for: Maurice Freeman.
