Antique Solid Silver Sauce Boat or Cream Jug

1920 - 1940
Description

A good example of a solid sterling silver sauce boat.

Hallmarked on the side for Sheffield 1936, it has the maker's mark for C W Fletcher & Son Ltd (Charles William Fletcher).

The fluted edges are nicely shaped towards the wide spout. The handle stands elegantly above the body of the jug and the three scroll feet are even on the surface.

Width (including handle): 14.5cm
