Description

This is a lovely example of a solid sterling silver 'Strawberry Set'.

Both pieces are clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1938, with the maker's mark of Barker Brothers Silver Ltd. The faceted bodies stand above circular pedestal bases. There is a pretty detailed ring just below the rim and feathered detail on the jug handle. The lid of the castor fits tightly and there is a partial hallmark on the inside.
